It was late in 2018 when I needed to replace my old oil fired boiler and was very anxious on who to use. It’s not a 1 hour job. It is complicated and very intense to say the least.

I did not know who to use as I have a general mistrust in tradesmen as I know only a few are very good at what they do. Trying to find someone is very difficult for me personally.

I noticed my neighbours across the road were having some very substantial building work done and I became friendly with the Building Contractor who was responsible for all the work involved. After a few weeks I noticed a van parked across the road from me. I realised that these were the heating engineers contracted to replace my neighbour’s boiler by the main Building Contractor. I casually observed them coming in and out of their van and the way they spoke and worked together. I then started looking at the van and looking at its condition and the way it was kept and sign written. I started to feel good about these people. it was just the way they went about and acknowledging me every time I came out for something. Valuing me on equal terms as my very good neighbour and friend.

I had a chance to speak to the main Building Contractor and asked him about the company who was fitting the new boiler. He was immediately very positive and encouraging about ADM and said he would always use them as their work was always excellent and had never let him down. I must say at this stage the builder himself was superb at his work so I imagined he was being very genuine regarding ADM.

I called ADM asking for a quote to supply and install my new oil fired boiler and was greeted with the utmost professionalism from Michael who would be coordinating any prospective work. Within a short period of time Andrew the MD of ADM arrived at my home in order to do a quick survey and prepare for a quote to be sent to me. It took only moments to see that ADM was headed by a man passionate about the his companies work quality and a very high level of personal customer service. My meeting with him was inspiring and I was completely satisfied with what he said and the guide to the final cost.

The quote came back to me the next day as promised by Michael and I went ahead.

When the engineers came on the agreed date they virtually did not stop working, carrying out excellent work and having them in my home was a pleasure. The old outlet pipe had to be taken out which involved some new brickwork to be laid. You could not see where the work was done. My neighbours where astounded. ADM’s Electrician also came over and did his work ( amazing professional). On the last day I had all the system completely flushed out under pressure. The person from ADM who undertook this was also unique. Spent most of the day flushing all the CH system out and was totally focused on the job in hand. So much so that not one fine particle was left in the entire system.

A very professional and conscientious group of people headed by a man who takes the companies customer service very personally.

I would rate them 5 stars for everything and they will indeed be working with me again.
